Isaac J. Gourdine Middle School is one of the middle schools serving Fort Washington residents. Fort Washington offers residents some shopping options, but even more shopping lies within the surrounding area of the county, and within Washington, DC. Prince George's County contains large shopping centers in its major population centers. Therea re numerous malls and the area is onveniently located on the border with Washington, DC, offering expensive options, especially for fine dining.
